Join the ArchmastersThe Community Collections portal contains thousands of materials gathered and published by community archives. Explore a plethora of photos and documents and describe them using tags to help other users find materials that interest them.
How to become an Archmaster?
It's simple! Click on ‘Start the Game’ and enter your nickname. On the next screen, you'll choose community archives you want to focus on, as well as one of the three challenges – read their descriptions below.You can support the portal's development by choosing one of the three challenges
Complete the tags for archival materials on the portalAdd tags referring to time, place or situations presented in the photos. Your suggestions will later be verified by other Archmasters in the ‘Check’ game, and then they will appear on the respective photo or document's page.In this mode, you will view a selection of automatically chosen collections. Each tag you add earns you two points!

By adding tags as part of the challenge, the collections are better described and easier to search for—helping everyone who is building community archives and using their materials!

For community archivistsYou assist them in describing the collections. If you prefer, you can choose specific archives you particularly like!
The games are designed to encourage you to explore the collections gathered on the portal. If you wish, you can accumulate points for tagging and join the Archmaster ranking!
