Open Archive System
Open Archive SystemOpen Archive System (OSA) is a free online tool for processing the collections of community archives. Once you join Open Archive System, you can present a part of or the entire collection described in the system on the Community Collections portal.

Open Archive System does not require expert knowledge and includes prompts for describing and organizing materials
It is compliant with the guidelines of the International Council on Archives
It supports digital copies of collections—scans as well as audio and video files
It facilitates the organization of community archives’ collections
